NEW YORK, NEW YORK is a totally professional show featuring three vocalists, six musicians, an assortment of props and hits from The Great American Songbook for an evening of glamour and razzmatazz .
West End performers (two male, one female) interact with a live band in a show that uses cleverly crafted arrangements to maintain that “big band” feel. Musical line-up comprises piano, bass, drums, reeds, trombone and trumpet – and no click-tracks!
Enduringly popular toe-tapping songs are professionally presented for an evening of glamour, fun and gentle humour. This is a beautifully staged production that is guaranteed to send your audience home whistling songbook favourites for days!
The Great American Songbook is a term that has come to represent the best American songs of the 20th century drawn principally from Broadway Theatre and Hollywood musicals from the 1920s to 1960. It includes dozens of songs of enduring popularity.
